اقترضت الحكومة 400 مليون دولار عبر طرح سندات بالدولار الأميركي، على أن يتم تسديدها خلال عامين؛ أي في شهر تموز من العام 2027.

ووفقًا لنتائج الإصدار المنشورة على موقع البنك المركزي الأردني، فإن الحكومة اقترضت السندات المطروحة بالدولار الأميركي بفائدة نسبتها 5.9%.

وتُعتبر سندات الخزينة أوراقًا مالية ذات قيمة معينة، تلجأ إليها الحكومات والشركات للحصول على السيولة المالية لتغطية مشاريعها المستقبلية، مقابل عوائد ربحية تُدفع للمشتري على المدى الطويل.
