قال القائم بأعمال حاكم منطقة كورسك الروسية ألكسندر خينشتاين في وقت متأخر الثلاثاء، إن ثلاثة أشخاص قتلوا وأصيب ستة آخرون في هجوم أوكراني على شاطئ بالمدينة.

ولم يقدم خينشتاين تفاصيل وافية عن الهجوم، لكنه قال إنه نُفذ عمدا في منطقة يرتادها كثيرون في الإقليم الواقع على الحدود الأوكرانية. وأضاف أن جميع المصابين يتلقون العلاج في المستشفيات.

وكانت القوات الأوكرانية قد توغلت على نطاق واسع في منطقة كورسك قبل عام تقريبا. وبينما أعلن الكرملين في وقت سابق طرد جميع قوات كييف من المنطقة، يؤكد مسؤولون أوكرانيون أن قواتهم تواصل عملياتها هناك.
