حمل الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب على نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين الثلاثاء، على خلفية محادثات السلام في أوكرانيا، وألمح إلى رغبته في فرض عقوبات جديدة على موسكو.

وقال ترامب لمراسلين خلال اجتماع وزاري في البيت الأبيض "نتعرّض لكثير من الترهات التي يوجهها إلينا بوتين، إذا كنتم تريدون معرفة الحقيقة، إنّه لطيف للغاية طوال الوقت، لكن يتّضح أن (كلامه) لا معنى له".

وردا على سؤال بشأن مشروع قانون اقترحه مجلس الشيوخ لفرض عقوبات إضافية على روسيا، قال ترامب "أنا أنظر في الأمر بقوة".
