أغلق مطار بيرغامو الإيطالي مؤقتا، الثلاثاء، بعد وفاة رجل على المدرج أثناء استعداد رحلة للإقلاع.

ويوفر المطار رحلات طيران منخفضة التكلفة من مدينة ميلانو وإليها.

وقالت إدارة المطار في بيان إن عمليات الطيران توقفت من الساعة 10:20 إلى الساعة 12 بالتوقيت المحلي "بسبب مشكلة في ممر الطائرات"، مضيفة أن السلطات تحقق في الواقعة.

وأكد متحدث باسم المطار وفاة الرجل، مشيرا إلى أنه لم يكن راكبا ولا موظفا بالمطار.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الإيطالية (أنسا) أن الرجل لقي حتفه بعد أن ابتلعه محرك طائرة تابعة لشركة فولوتيا أثناء إقلاعها.
