أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الإثنين أنّ الولايات المتّحدة سترسل "مزيدا من الأسلحة الدفاعية" إلى أوكرانيا، في قرار يأتي بعد أن أعلن البيت الأبيض الأسبوع الماضي وقف بعض شحنات الأسلحة إلى كييف.

وقال ترامب للصحافيين في البيت الأبيض "سيتعيّن علينا إرسال مزيد من الأسلحة - أسلحة دفاعية بالدرجة الأولى"، مجدّدا إبداء "استيائه" من نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين بسبب عدم جنوحه للسلم.
