بحث الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، أنطونيو غوتيريش، مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني، عباس عراقجي، اليوم الاثنين، تطورات الأوضاع في الشرق الأوسط، وذلك على هامش قمة "البريكس" المنعقدة في ريو دي جانيرو بالبرازيل.

وبحسب بيان أممي، أكد غوتيريش "أهمية تعزيز وقف إطلاق النار لوضع الأساس لاستئناف المفاوضات".

كما التقى الأمين العام مع وزير خارجية جمهورية تركيا، هاكان فيدان، وناقشا "الشراكة بين الأمم المتحدة وتركيا" وتبادلا الآراء حول الحرب في أوكرانيا، والوضع في الشرق الأوسط، والجولة التالية من الاجتماعات حول قبرص.
