ترامب يحوّل البيت الأبيض إلى "حلبة نزال"

أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، انه يخطط لاستضافة نزال للفنون القتالية المختلطة في البيت الأبيض العام المقبل ضمن الاحتفال بالذكرى 250 لإعلان استقلال البلاد.

ويُعرف ترامب في عالم الفنون القتالية المختلطة باسم "الرئيس المقاتل"، ويعد ترامب رئيس المنظمة المسؤولة عن البطولة دانا وايت صديقا مقربا ويعتبر مشجعي هذه الرياضة جزءا من قاعدته السياسية.

وكشف ترامب عن تلك الخطط خلال خطاب تناول موضوعات كثيرة في ولاية أيوا، تمهيدا لاحتفالات يوم الاستقلال الذي يحل، الجمعة.

وقال ترامب: "سنرى نزالا للفنون القتالية المختلطة على أرض البيت الأبيض".

وأضاف: "سيكون هناك نحو 20 ألف إلى 25 ألف شخص في إطار المئتين والخمسين"، في إشارة إلى ذكرى استقلال الولايات المتحدة.

ويحضر ترامب نزالات تلك البطولة بانتظام، وآخر مرة شاهد فيها نزالا كانت في نيوجيرسي يونيو الماضي
