أعلن إقليم كردستان العراق مساء الخميس إسقاط مسيّرة "مفخخة" قرب مطار أربيل الدولي الذي يضمّ قاعدة للتحالف الدولي لمكافحة تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية بقيادة واشنطن، مشيرا إلى عدم وقوع أي أضرار أو خسائر بشرية.

وقال جهاز مكافحة الإرهاب في الإقليم المتمتع بحكم ذاتي، في بيان "مساء اليوم الخميس 3 تموز/يوليو 2025 في الساعة 21,58 (18,58 ت غ)، تم إسقاط طائرة مسيّرة مفخخة بالقرب من مطار أربيل الدولي"، مضيفا "لحسن الحظ لم تسفر عن أي أضرار بشرية أو مادية".
