أصيب عدد من الأشخاص بعملية طعن وقعت الخميس قرب مركز للتسوق في مدينة تامبير الفنلندية حيث تم توقيف المشتبه به، بحسب ما أعلنت الشرطة.

وقالت الشرطة في بيان إن "الوضع لم يعد يمثل خطرا للأشخاص الآخرين. يتلقى الضحايا الإسعافات الأولية"، مضيفة أنه لا يمكنها حاليا تقديم تفاصيل إضافية بما في ذلك عدد الضحايا.

وسارعت عدة سيارات إسعاف وشرطة إلى المكان، بحسب الإعلام المحلي.

وأعلنت الشرطة أنها تلقت بلاغا عن حادث الطعن عند الساعة 16,23 (13,23 ت غ) وأن المنطقة خارج مركز راتينا للتسوق أُغلقت فيما لا تزال الشرطة تستجوب الشهود بعد أكثر من ساعة على وقوع الحادث.

تقع تامبير التي تعد حوالى 260 ألف نسمة على بعد نحو 180 كيلومترا شمال هلسنكي.
