ألقت كوادر البحث الجنائي في مركز أمن إربد الشرقي القبض على شخصين قاما بسرقة جميع مضخات المياه من إحدى البنايات السكنية في مدينة إربد، وفقًا لمصدر أمني.

وأوضح المصدر أن عدداً من المواطنين تقدموا بشكوى للمركز الأمني تفيد بسرقة مضخات المياه من بنايتهم، حيث تم على الفور فتح تحقيق بالحادثة، وجمع المعلومات، وتتبع هوية الجناة، إلى أن تم إلقاء القبض عليهما خلال وقت قياسي.

وأضاف أنه، وبعد التحقيق معهما، اعترفا بارتكابهما الجريمة، وتم ضبط جميع المضخات المسروقة وإعادتها إلى أصحابها، فيما أُحيلت القضية إلى الجهات القضائية المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
