أعربت وزيرة الدولة البريطانية لشؤون التنمية، جيني تشابمان، عن قلقها البالغ إزاء التدهور الحاد في الأوضاع الإنسانية داخل قطاع غزة، مشيرة إلى أن القطاع لم يتلقَ أي كميات من الوقود منذ أكثر من 4 أشهر، ما ينذر بكارثة إنسانية وشيكة.

وقالت تشابمان، في تغريدة نشرتها عبر حسابها اليوم الأربعاء، إن "الأزمة الإنسانية في غزة مروعة، ولم يدخلها وقود منذ 4 أشهر"، مشددة على أن "هذا النقص الحاد يهدد بإغلاق إمدادات المياه والمستشفيات وتعطيل سيارات الإسعاف".

ودعت إلى التوصل لوقف إطلاق نار فوري ومستدام، ورفع كل القيود عن دخول المساعدات إلى غزة، والإفراج عن جميع الرهائن.
