أعلنت السلطات الأميركية مساء الأحد أنها عثرت على "رجل ميت" على جبل كانفيلد في ولاية أيداهو بشمال غرب الولايات المتحدة، حيث وقع رجال إطفاء في مكمن وتعرضوا لإطلاق نار خلال مكافحتهم حريقا.

وقال بيان صادر عن شريف مقاطعة كوتيناي "هذا المساء، عثر أفراد فرقة سوات (قوات خاصة تابعة للشرطة) على رجل ميت في جبل كانفيلد"، مضيفا "عثر على سلاح ناري في مكان قريب". وأضاف أن الامر الصادر للسكان بملازمة أماكنهم خلال المواجهة بين قوات إنفاذ القانون وعدد غير محدد من المسلحين "سيتم رفعه".
