أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية، الاحد، على إحدى واجهاتها وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، محاولة تهريب مواد مخدرة عن طريق (مقذوف) محمل بمادة الكرستال المخدرة قادم من الأراضي السورية.

وقال مصدر عسكري مسؤول في القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي: "إن قوات حرس الحدود في المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية، رصدت إطلاق المقذوف من الأراضي السورية إلى الأراضي الأردنية، وبعد تكثيف البحث والتفتيش، تم ضبط المقذوف المحمل بنحو 500 غرام من مادة الكرستال المخدرة وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة.

وأكد المصدر أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية ماضية في التعامل بكل قوة وحزم، مع أي تهديد على الواجهات الحدودية، أو أي مساعٍ يراد بها التاثير على الأمن الوطني الأردني.
