أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الجمعة أنه سيقصف "بالتأكيد" إيران مجددا إذا أشارت المعلومات الاستخباراتية إلى أنها لا تزال قادرة على تخصيب اليورانيوم إلى مستويات تتيح صنع الأسلحة النووية.

وعندما سُئل في مؤتمر صحافي بالبيت الأبيض عما إذا كان سيفكر في شن ضربات جديدة إذا لم تنجح غارات الأسبوع الماضي في إنهاء الطموحات النووية الإيرانية، أجاب "بلا شك. بالتأكيد".

واعتبر ترامب أن المرشد الإيراني آية الله علي خامنئي "هزم شرّ هزيمة" نتيجة الضربات الأميركية والإسرائيلية.
