عرض مركز التوثيق الملكي الأردني الهاشمي، وثيقة مؤرخة بتاريخ 27 حزيران 1961، تتضمن قرار إنشاء أول مدرسة للتمريض تابعة للجيش العربي الأردني.

وأوضح المركز في بيان، اليوم الجمعة، أن هذه الوثيقة تعد خطوة تعكس مدى التزام المؤسسة العسكرية بتطوير خدماتها العلاجية وتعزيز قدرات كوادرها الطبية.

وبين، أنها تُظهر كتابًا رسميًا مرفوعًا من وزير الدفاع إلى رئيس الوزراء، يتضمن مقترحًا بالاستعانة بممرضات أجنبيات ممن يملكن خبرات دولية لتغطية النقص في الكفاءات المحلية في المرحلة الأولى، على أن يصار لاحقًا إلى الاعتماد على خريجات الوطن عند توفرهن.
