تتجه أسعار النفط العالمية إلى تسجيل أكبر تراجع أسبوعي لها في عامين، مع استمرار وقف إطلاق النار بين إيران وإسرائيل، مما حد من المخاوف بشأن اضطرابات محتملة في إمدادات الشرق الأوسط. ورغم ذلك، سجلت الأسعار ارتفاعا في تعاملات اليوم الجمعة، مدعومة بزيادة الطلب على الوقود في الولايات المتحدة مع بدء موسم القيادة الصيفي.

وصعدت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت بمقدار 34 سنتا، أو 0.5 بالمئة، لتسجل 68.07 دولار للبرميل، بينما ارتفع خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأميركي 33 سنتا، أو 0.51 بالمئة، ليصل إلى 65.57 دولار للبرميل، وفقا لشبكة (سي إن بي سي) .

ورغم هذا الصعود، يتجه الخامان القياسيان لتسجيل خسائر أسبوعية تقارب 12 بالمئة، وسط أجواء من الترقب الحذر في الأسواق، وتحول تركيز المستثمرين من النزاع في الشرق الأوسط، إلى مفاوضات التجارة الأميركية.
