أعلن المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس، اليوم الخميس، أن المنظمة سلمت شحنتها الطبية الأولى إلى غزة منذ الثاني من آذار، لكنه أضاف أن الشاحنات التسع، التي حملتها، تمثل "قطرة في محيط" في إشارة منه إلى أنها غير كافية بالنظر لاحتياجات القطاع.

وقال تيدروس في منشور على منصة "إكس" ، إن "تسع شاحنات محملة بإمدادات طبية أساسية و2000 وحدة دم و1500 وحدة بلازما" عبرت إلى القطاع الفلسطيني، مضيفًا أن الإمدادات سيتم توزيعها على المستشفيات ذات الأولوية في غضون أيام.
