هنأ رئيس مجلس النواب أحمد الصفدي باسمه وأعضاء مجلس النواب، جلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني وسمو الأمير الحسين بن عبد الله الثاني، ولي العهد، بمناسبة حلول العام الهجري الجديد.

وعبّر الصفدي عن خالص الأمنيات والدعوات بأن يحفظ المولى الأردن وشعبنا العزيز بقيادة جلالة الملك، عميد آل البيت الأطهار الوصي على المقدسات الإسلامية والمسيحية في قدس العروبة، مؤكدا أن هذه الذكرى تبعث في النفوس أسمى معاني الصبر والدفاع عن رسالة الحق التي بعث بها نبي الرحمة والهدى للناس كافة.

واستذكر الصفدي بهذه المناسبة التي يتم الاحتفاء بها مع أبناء أمتنا الإسلامية، سيرة عطرة وعظيمة للنبي الكريم، حيث قدم في هجرته الشريفة أنبل صور التضحية والصبر والثبات.
