تلقى جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني اتصالا هاتفيا من الرئيس العراقي الدكتور عبداللطيف رشيد، اليوم الأربعاء، بحثا خلاله سبل دعم جهود خفض التصعيد في المنطقة.

وأكد جلالته ضرورة تكثيف الجهود العربية لتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار بين إيران وإسرائيل، والعمل الفاعل مع المجتمع الدولي لوقف الحرب على غزة، وصولا للتهدئة الشاملة.

ونبه جلالة الملك، خلال الاتصال، إلى تبعات التصعيد الخطير في الضفة الغربية والقدس، على أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
