نصحت وحدة مكافحة الجرائم الإلكترونية مستخدمي برامج وتطبيقات المحادثات كافة كالواتس أب وغيرها، إجراء تحديث مستمر لتلك البرامج لتلافي أيّة ثغرات في تلك البرامج والتي تعمل الشركات على حلّها مع كل تحديث، إضافة إلى ربط الحساب بإيميل فعّال وتفعيل خاصّية المصادقة الثنائية.
