أكد جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني خلال اتصال هاتفي تلقاه من جلالة الملك ويليام ألكسندر ملك مملكة هولندا، اليوم الثلاثاء، أهمية الحفاظ على خفض التصعيد في الإقليم.

ولفت جلالة الملك، خلال الاتصال، إلى ضرورة التزام جميع الأطراف بالتهدئة وصولا إلى استعادة أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.

وشدد جلالته على ضرورة بذل أقصى الجهود لوقف الحرب على غزة وضمان تدفق المساعدات الإنسانية، وإيقاف التصعيد في الضفة الغربية والقدس.
