الملك يؤكد وقوف الأردن إلى جانب سوريا في مواجهة الإرهاب والتطرف.

بعث جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني، برقية تعزية إلى الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع بضحايا الهجوم الإرهابي الذي استهدف كنيسة مار إلياس في دمشق، وأودى بحياة مدنيين أبرياء وتسبب بإصابة آخرين.

وأعرب جلالته في البرقية باسمه وباسم شعب المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وحكومتها، عن تعازيه لأسر الضحايا وتمنياته بالشفاء العاجل للمصابين، مؤكدا وقوف الأردن إلى جانب سوريا في مواجهة جميع أشكال الإرهاب والتطرف.

كما بعث جلالته برقية تعزية مماثلة إلى غبطة بطريرك أنطاكية وسائر المشرق للروم الأرثوذكس يوحنا العاشر يازجي.
