بحث جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني، ورئيس الوزراء البريطاني السير كير ستارمر خلال اتصال هاتفي، اليوم الأحد، سبل وقف التصعيد الخطير بالمنطقة.

وأكد جلالة الملك، خلال الاتصال، ضرورة تكثيف الجهود الدبلوماسية الدولية للتوصل إلى تهدئة شاملة، محذرا من تبعات التصعيد وزيادة التوتر في الإقليم.

وجدد جلالته التأكيد على أن الأردن لن يكون ساحة حرب لأي صراع، ولن يسمح بتهديد أمنه واستقراره وسلامة مواطنيه.

كما أكد جلالة الملك ضرورة مواصلة الاهتمام الدولي بالأوضاع في غزة والضفة الغربية، والعمل للتوصل لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة وإيصال المساعدات الكافية، ووقف التصعيد في الضفة الغربية والقدس.
