أعلنت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين فوز مرشح الأردن، القاضي الدكتور منصور الطوالبة، في انتخابات عضوية الهيئة الدائمة المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي التي أجريت اليوم، على هامش أعمال الدورة 51 لمجلس وزراء خارجية الدول الأعضاء في المنظمة.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير د.سفيان القضاة أن فوز الدكتور الطوالبة يُعد تأكيدًا على مكانة الأردن ودورها الفاعل في تعزيز الحريات العامة وحقوق الإنسان، مُشيدًا بدور اللجنة في تفعيل آليات ومنظومة حقوق الإنسان للدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي.
