الأمم المتحدة تعين أردنية منسقة إنسانية أممية في تونس

قرر أمين عام الأمم المتحدة انطونيو غوتيريش، اليوم الخميس، تعيين الأردنية رنا طه منسقًا مقيمًا للأمم المتحدة في تونس، بعد موافقة الحكومة المضيفة، اعتبارًا من اليوم.

وحسب بيان أممي، فإن طه لديها خبرة متنوعة في العمل مع وكالات وصناديق وبرامج الأمم المتحدة، وكذلك في مهام حفظ السلام والسياسات السياسية الخاصة بالأمم المتحدة تمتد لـ 20 عاما، حيث كانت كبيرة مستشاري السلام والتنمية للأمم المتحدة في كينيا.

كما عملت في بعثات حفظ سلام أممية في لبنان والسودان.
