قال الجيش الإسرائيلي إن قواته استهدفت مفاعل آراك النووي الإيراني خلال الليل.

وقال الجيش، إن 60 طائرة مقاتلة نفذت غارات استهدفت "مواقع لإنتاج وسائل قتالية، ومواقع لإنتاج أجهزة الطرد المركزي، بالإضافة إلى مواقع أبحاث وتطوير ضمن مشروع السلاح النووي التابع للنظام الإيراني".

وأفادت وكالة أنباء الطلبة الإيرانية الخميس بأن منطقة قريبة من محطة خنداب للأبحاث للماء الثقيل، وهي جزء من البرنامج النووي الإيراني، تعرضت لقصف إسرائيلي.

وأضافت الوكالة نقلا عن مسؤولين أنه جرى إخلاء المنشأة قبل الهجوم، وأنه لا يوجد أي خطر إشعاعي.
