أكّد رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر الثلاثاء خلال قمّة مجموعة السبع أنه لا يرى مؤشرات على نية الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب التدخل في النزاع بين إسرائيل وإيران.

وقال ستارمر "لا شيء في تصريحات ترامب يدفع إلى الظنّ" أن الرئيس الأميركي على وشك الانخراط في النزاع الذي بدأ الجمعة بهجوم إسرائيلي واسع على إيران، وذلك بعدما زادت مغادرة ترامب المبكرة للقمة المنعقدة في جبال روكي الكندية، المخاوف من دخول واشنطن الحليفة لإسرائيل، على خط المواجهة.
