طالبت الأمم المتحدة اليوم الاثنين، بوقف فوري للتوترات المتصاعدة في الشرق الأوسط، مشيرة إلى أن أمينها العام، أنطونيو غوتيريش أجرى مكالمات هاتفية لمحاولة وقف الصراع بين إيران وإسرائيل.

وقال نائب المتحدث باسم الأمم المتحدة فرحان حق، إن غوتيريش أجرى مكالمة هاتفية مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني، عباس عراقجي.

وأضاف، أن الأمين العام، أكد إدانته لأي تصعيد عسكري وقلقه العميق بشأن الهجمات المكثفة، وأيضًا موقفه الراسخ، منذ فترة طويلة، بشأن الحاجة إلى حل دبلوماسي للمسألة النووية الإيرانية.
