قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي الاثنين إن الولايات المتحدة قادرة على وقف الهجمات الإسرائيلية على الجمهورية الإسلامية "باتصال هاتفي واحد".

وأورد عراقجي في منشور على منصة إكس "إذا كان الرئيس ترامب صادقا بشأن الدبلوماسية ومهتما بوقف هذه الحرب، فإن الخطوات التالية ستكون حاسمة. يجب على إسرائيل وقف عدوانها، وفي غياب الوقف الكامل للعدوان العسكري ضدنا، ستستمر ردودنا"، مضيفا أن "إسكات شخص مثل (رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين) نتانياهو يتطلب اتصالا هاتفيا واحدا من واشنطن. وقد يمهد ذلك الطريق للعودة إلى الدبلوماسية".
