قال الكرملين إن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين ونظيره التركي رجب طيب أردوغان نددا "بالعمل العسكري" الإسرائيلي ضد إيران، ودعوا خلال اتصال هاتفي بينهما الاثنين إلى وقف فوري للأعمال القتالية.

وذكر بيان للكرملين "عبّر الجانبان عن بالغ قلقهما إزاء التصعيد المستمر للصراع الإيراني الإسرائيلي، الذي أدى بالفعل إلى سقوط عدد كبير من القتلى والجرحى، وينذر بعواقب وخيمة طويلة الأمد على المنطقة بأسرها".

وأضاف البيان "أيد الزعيمان الوقف الفوري للأعمال القتالية، وتسوية القضايا الخلافية، بما في ذلك تلك المتعلقة بالبرنامج النووي الإيراني، بالوسائل السياسية والدبلوماسية فقط".

ووفقا للبيان، اتفق الزعيمان على مواصلة التعاون الوثيق.
