أعلنت الأمم المتحدة، الاثنين، أنها ستقلص بشكل كبير برنامجها للمساعدات الإنسانية في العالم هذا العام بسبب "أسوأ الاقتطاعات المالية التي أصابت القطاع الإنساني على الإطلاق".

وأوضح مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) أن الخطة الجديدة لعام 2025 البالغة كلفتها 29 مليار دولار، عوضا عن 44 مليارا كانت ملحوظة لدى إطلاقها في كانون الأول، تعطي "الأولوية بشكل فائق" لدعم 114 مليون شخص.
