أعلنت الشرطة الإسرائيلية في بيان الأحد أنها ألقت القبض على مواطنَين إسرائيليين بتهمة التخابر مع إيران "خلال الأيام الأخيرة" في عملية مشتركة مع جهاز الأمن الداخلي (الشاباك).

وقالت الشرطة في بيانها: "في عملية مشتركة لجهاز الشاباك ووحدة اليمام، تم الليلة (15/6)، القبض على مواطنين إسرائيليين (يهود)، بشبهة التورط في قضية أمنية بإيعاز من جهات استخباراتية إيرانية"، مضيفة أن هذا الحادث يأتي ضمن 22 قضية أحبطها الشاباك والشرطة منذ بداية الحرب في 7 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023 "في ظل محاولات متكررة من الاستخبارات الإيرانية لتجنيد إسرائيليين لتنفيذ مهام تهدد أمن الدولة".
