قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الأحد، إنه سيتم التوصل "قريبا" إلى سلام بين إسرائيل وإيران.

وذكر ترامب، في منشور على منصة "تروث سوشال": "إيران وإسرائيل يجب أن تتوصلا إلى اتفاق، وستتوصلان إليه، تماما كما جعلت الهند وباكستان يتوصلان إلى اتفاق". وأضاف: "أيضا خلال ولايتي الأولى، كانت صربيا وكوسوفو في صراع شديد استمر لعقود، وكان هذا النزاع الطويل على وشك الانفجار إلى حرب. لقد أوقفته (بايدن أضر بآفاق المدى الطويل ببعض القرارات الغبية، لكنني سأصلح الأمر مرة أخرى)".

وتابع: "وبالمثل، سيكون هناك سلام قريبا بين إسرائيل وإيران. هناك العديد من المكالمات والاجتماعات تجري الآن".
