تفقد أمين عام سلطة وادي الأردن المهندس هشام الحيصة، مركز التحكم والسيطرة التابع للسلطة في وادي الأردن للاطلاع على جاهزية المركز الفنية والتقنية، وسير العمل، وضمان توزيع المياه للمزارعين وشركات المياه .

وحسب بيان لوزارة المياه والري اليوم السبت، أكد الحيصة خلال الجولة أن مركز التحكم يُعد أحد المكونات الحيوية في منظومة إدارة المياه في وادي الأردن، لما له من دور محوري في متابعة تدفق المياه، وتنظيم عمليات التزويد المائي .

وشدد على أهمية الجاهزية الفنية والميدانية العالية، مشيرًا إلى أن السلطة كثّفت جهودها في دعم المركز بالكوادر المؤهلة والتقنيات الحديثة، إلى جانب تجهيز غرفة الطوارئ للعمل على مدار الساعة بالتنسيق مع جميع الغرف الفرعية المنتشرة في مواقع السدود والمنشآت المائية.
