أعلن الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون الجمعة أن بلاده ستشارك في "عمليات حماية ودفاع" عن إسرائيل في حال تعرضها لـ"أعمال انتقامية" من إيران، في حين تواصل إسرائيل ضرباتها على إيران.

وقال الرئيس الفرنسي خلال مؤتمر صحافي "أبديتُ استعدادنا للمشاركة في هذا الصدد"، مضيفا أنه "في المقابل، ليس لدي أي خطط للمشاركة في أي عملية هجومية على الإطلاق. هذا ليس دورنا".
