استدعت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، الجمعة، سفيرة سويسرا التي ترعى المصالح الأميركية في طهران، عقب الهجوم واسع النطاق لإسرائيل حليفة واشنطن، على مواقع عسكرية ونووية في مدن إيرانية عدة منها العاصمة.

وأفادت وكالة إرنا الرسمية بأنه "خلال هذا الاستدعاء، أعربت الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية عن إدانتها الحازمة ونقلت احتجاجاتها القوية على هذا العدوان الإسرائيلي والدعم الذي تقدّمه له الولايات المتحدة".
