صرَّح مصدر عسكري مسؤول في القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي، بأن المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية أحبطت أمس الثلاثاء ، وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، محاولة تسلل على احدى واجهاتها الشمالية ضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها.

واوضح المصدر أنه تم رصد شخص حاول اجتياز الحدود بطريقة غير مشروعة ، حيث تم تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك، وإلقاء القبض عليه، وتحويله إلى الجهات المختصة.

وأكد المصدر أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية تعمل بكل قوة وحزم لتسخير الامكانات كافة للتصدي لمثل هذه العمليات ومنع مختلف أشكال ومحاولات التسلل والتهريب، حفاظًا على أمن واستقرار المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.
