عبّر سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني، ولي العهد، عن دعمه الكبير للمنتخب الوطني الأردني لكرة القدم، قبيل مباراته الحاسمة أمام المنتخب العراقي الشقيق، ضمن التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس العالم.

وقال سموه في منشور عبر حسابه الرسمي على "إنستغرام":
"ثقتنا بكم وبأدائكم الذي يليق باسم الأردن مستمرة.. كل التوفيق اليوم في مباراتكم أمام أسود الرافدين "

وتحمل هذه الرسالة تأكيداً على الدعم الملكي المستمر للمنتخب الوطني، وتحفيزاً للاعبين لتقديم أداء يعكس طموحات الأردنيين وتاريخهم الكروي العريق. وتأتي المواجهة المرتقبة ضمن أجواء حماسية وأخوية تجمع المنتخبين العربيين، في لقاء يُتوقع أن يكون محط أنظار الجماهير في الأردن والمنطقة.
