قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إنّ بلاغاً ورد لمديرية شرطة محافظة معان بوصول أحد الأشخاص للمستشفى متوفى، إثر تعرّضه للإصابة بعيارات نارية وبوشرت التحقيقات لتحديد ملابسات الجريمة ومطلق النار .

وأكّد الناطق الإعلامي أنه ومن خلال جمع المعلومات تمكنت فرق التحقيق من تحديد مطلق النار وهو شقيق المغدور ومتوارٍ عن الأنظار وبمواصلة البحث عنه تمكنت فرق التحقيق من تحديد مكان وجوده خارج محافظة معان وأُلقي القبض عليه وضبط بدلالته سلاح ناري أوتوماتيكي واعترف بقيامه بإطلاق النار على شقيقه إثر خلافات عائلية .
