ندد حكام ولايات أميركية ينتمون إلى الحزب الديموقراطي الأحد بنشر الرئيس دونالد ترامب قوات من الحرس الوطني في لوس أنجليس لقمع الاحتجاجات المناهضة لاعتقال مهاجرين، مشيرين إلى أن الصلاحية في هذا الشأن تعود لحاكم الولاية.

وقال الحكام في بيان مشترك "إن تحرك الرئيس ترامب لنشر الحرس الوطني التابع لولاية كاليفورنيا يعد إساءة استخدام للسلطة تنذر بالخطر". وأضافوا "من المهم أن نحترم سلطة الحكام التنفيذية التي تخولهم إدارة قوات الحرس الوطني في ولاياتهم".
