البنك المركزي الأوروبي يخفض أسعار الفائدة

أعلن البنك المركزي الأوروبي، اليوم الخميس، عن خفض معدل الفائدة الرئيس على الودائع في منطقة اليورو إلى 2 بالمئة، ويعد هذا ثامن خفض لسعر الفائدة منذ تموز 2024.

ووفقًا للبيان الصادر عن المركزي الأوروبي، فقد تم خفض سعر الفائدة الرئيس بمقدار 25 نقطة أساس إلى 2.15 بالمئة سنويًا، فيما انخفض سعر الفائدة على الودائع إلى 2 بالمئة، وأصبح سعر الفائدة على القروض قصيرة الأجل 2.40 بالمئة.

ويأتي هذا القرار في إطار استجابة البنك المركزي الأوروبي للمؤشرات الاقتصادية، حيث يسعى إلى تحقيق التوازن بين مكافحة التضخم ودعم النمو الاقتصادي في منطقة اليورو.

وعقب القرار، صعد سعر صرف اليورو أمام الدولار بنسبة 0.20 بالمئة إلى 1.144 دولار، بحسب ما أظهرته التداولات.
