التقى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، في مدريد الخميس، مع جلالة الملك فيليب السادس، ملك إسبانيا.

وجرى بحث ضرورة إدامة التنسيق بين البلدين حيال القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، والحرص على الارتقاء بالعلاقات الثنائية إلى مستوى الشراكة الاستراتيجية.

وثمن جلالة الملك مواقف إسبانيا الداعمة لحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني وإيجاد أفق سياسي لتحقيق السلام على أساس حل الدولتين، وضرورة وقف الحرب على غزة، وإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية فورا وبشكل كاف ولجميع مناطق القطاع.

وحضر اللقاء نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي، ومدير مكتب جلالة الملك، علاء البطاينة، وسفيرة الأردن لدى إسبانيا رغد السقا.
