أمر الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الأربعاء بفتح تحقيق للاشتباه بأنّ محيطين بسلفه جو بايدن "تآمروا" للتستّر على "حالته العقلية" والاستيلاء على صلاحياته، بحسب ما أعلن البيت الأبيض.

وقالت الرئاسة الأميركية في بيان إنّ ترامب كلّف محامي البيت الأبيض "التحقيق، ضمن حدود القانون، بشأن ما إذا كان بعض الأفراد قد تآمروا للكذب على الرأي العام بشأن الحالة العقلية لبايدن، وممارسة صلاحيات الرئيس ومسؤولياته خلافا للدستور".
