أعلن مفوض الشؤون التجارية للاتحاد الأوروبي ماروس سيفكوفيتش الأربعاء أن المحادثات مع الولايات المتحدة تُحرز تقدما، لكن مضاعفة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب للرسوم الجمركية على الصلب والألمنيوم "لا تخدم" المفاوضات.

وأضاف المسؤول الكبير في مؤتمر صحفي عقب محادثاته مع الممثل التجاري الأميركي جيميسون غرير في باريس "نأسف بشدة" لقرار رفع الرسوم الجمركية إلى 50%.
