قال رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر، الاثنين، إن الوضع في قطاع غزة "يزداد سوءا يوما بعد يوم"، وأنه من المهم ضمان تلقي القطاع الفلسطيني مزيدا من المساعدات الإنسانية على نحو عاجل.

وأضاف ستارمر للصحفيين في اسكتلندا عندما سئل عما إذا كانت بريطانيا ستتخذ أي إجراء بشأن هذه المسألة "الوضع لا يحتمل في غزة، ويزداد سوءا يوما بعد يوم".

وتابع "لهذا السبب نعمل مع الحلفاء... لنكون واضحين تماما بشأن ضرورة دخول المساعدات الإنسانية بسرعة وبكميات لا تدخل في الوقت الحالي، مما يسبب دمارا مطلقا".
