قفزت أسعار الذهب الاثنين مع تهديد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، بمضاعفة الرسوم الجمركية على واردات الصلب والألمنيوم، في حين أدى تراجع الدولار إلى دعم المعدن النفيس المقوم بالعملة الأميركية.

ارتفع الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.6% إلى 3309.89 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 0056 بتوقيت غرينتش.

وزادت العقود الأميركية الآجلة للذهب 0.6% لتسجل 3333.30 دولار.

وانخفض مؤشر الدولار 0.1% مما يجعل الذهب أقل تكلفة لحائزي العملات الأخرى.

وأعلن ترامب يوم الجمعة عزمه رفع الرسوم الجمركية على واردات الصلب والألمنيوم من 25%إلى 50%، مما دفع المفوضية الأوروبية إلى التحذير بأن أوروبا تستعد للرد.
