أكدت حماس اليوم الأحد استعدادها "للشروع الفوري" لبدء مفاوضات جديدة سعيا لهدنة في قطاع غزة، بعيد تأكيد مصر وقطر عزمهما على "تكثيف الجهود" للتوصل الى اتفاق بين إسرائيل والحركة الفلسطينية.

ورحبت حماس في بيان "باستمرار الجهود القطرية والمصرية من أجل التوصّل إلى إنهاء الحرب التي يشنّها الاحتلال الصهيوني على شعبنا في قطاع غزة، وتؤكّد استعداد الحركة للشروع الفوري في جولة مفاوضات غير مباشرة، للوصول إلى اتفاق حول نقاط الخلاف، بما يؤمّن إغاثة شعبنا وإنهاء المأساة الإنسانية، وصولا إلى وقف دائم لإطلاق النار وانسحاب كامل لقوات الاحتلال".
