تقرير أممي: تخفيضات التمويل تهدد مشاريع تقودها نساء حول العالم

أصدرت هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة تقريرا، اليوم الثلاثاء، يحذر من التأثيرات المالية التي لحقت بالنساء نتيجة التخفيضات التمويلية، داعية إلى تقديم دعم عاجل لمشاريعهن.

وقالت الهيئة إنها أجرت في شهر آذار الماضي مسحا عالميا شمل أكثر من 400 منظمة نسائية في 44 دولة، بهدف فهم تأثير هذه التخفيضات على المبادرات المحلية التي تقودها النساء، خاصةً في ظروف الأزمات.

وأظهرت النتائج، التي وصفتها الهيئة بأنها "مقلقة"، أن 90 بالمئة من المشاركات أفدن بتأثر عملياتهن ماليًا، فيما توقعت نحو نصف المنظمات الإغلاق خلال 6 أشهر، واضطرت العديد منها إلى تقليص عدد الموظفين أو تعليق الخدمات الأساسية.

وطالبت هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة بتوفير المزيد من الموارد والدعم للنساء والفتيات، مشددةً على أنهن غير قادرات على "تحمل فقدان الروافد الحيوية التي توفرها منظمات النساء".
