أكّد مساعد محافظ جرش لشؤون التنمية والاستثمار الدكتور محمد رفاعي ، أن المحافظة شهدت استحداث عدد من المشاريع الحيوية مؤخراً، من أبرزها "مركز الخدمات الحكومية" الذي تم إنشاؤه مقابل "المركز الشامل" الصحي، والذي يقدم دوراً صحياً مهماً لأبناء المحافظة.
وأوضح أن اللجنة المعنية أخذت على عاتقها تنظيم الحركة المرورية ضمن هذه المنطقة الحيوية، مشيراً إلى أن وجود مركز تجاري على التقاطع الرئيسي دفع الجهات المختصة إلى تحويل السير إلى اتجاه واحد، بهدف تسهيل حركة المرور، ومنع تعطل الدخول إلى المواقف، وضمان خدمة أفضل لمراجعي المركز الحكومي.
وأشار الرفاعي، إلى أنه تم أيضاً إنشاء جزيرة مرورية قابلة للتعديل، تقع بين دوار القيروان باتجاه بوابة الآثار، في محاولة للحد من الازدحامات المرورية الناتجة عن حركة الباصات والمركبات العاملة بالأجرة في تلك المنطقة.
