- فرق التحقيق في القضايا المجهولة أعادت فتح ملف تغيّب فتاة منذ عام 2008 وتكشف تعرضها للقتل من قبل شقيقها، وألقت القبض عليه.

قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام: إنّ فرق التحقيق في القضايا المجهولة في إدارة البحث الجنائي وقيادة أمن إقليم الجنوب، أعادوا فتح ملف إحدى قضايا التغيّب لإحدى الفتيات مواليد 1991 ومن جنسية عربية في محافظة العقبة منذ عام 2008م.

حيث تمكّن الفريق بعد إعادة التحقيق والبحث عن معلومات وقرائن جديدة من احتمال أنّ تغيّب تلك الفتاة مرتبط بتعرّضها للقتل، وحصر الاشتباه بشقيقها وأُلقي القبض عليه.

وتابع الناطق الإعلامي أنه بالتحقيق مع المشتبه به (أخيها) اعترف بقيامه بقتل شقيقته طعنا إثر خلافات بينهما وأنه قام بعد ذلك بنقل جثّتها ودفنها في منطقة خالية من السكّان.

وأكّد أنه وبدلالة الجاني بعد أخذ موافقة المدّعي العام المختص، جرى التحرّك للمكان وبالبحث والتنقيب عن الجثة عُثر على بقايا عظام إنسان، حيث أرسلت للمختبر الجنائي لمطابقتها مع الفتاة المتغيّبة، فيما أحيل الجاني لمدعي عام محكمة الجنايات الكبرى الذي قرر إيقافه في أحد مراكز الإصلاح والتأهيل عن تهمة القتل العمد.
